‘Teacher’s Day’ is celebrated to acknowledge the challenges, trouble, and special role that teachers play in our lives. India celebrates Teacher’s Day on September 5, in memory of the birth of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a teacher himself. He used to cherish his teacher definitely and when he became president of India, some of his students and colleagues requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday on 5th September. He answered, alternatively commending my birthday it would be a pleasing benefit if September 5th is seen as the teacher’s day.

Students and teachers, perform in various events with Enthusiasm. on this day to break the normal day school activities. So students especially look forward to this day. We organize cultural functions as drama, dance, and singing competition e.t.c. Speech competition is held to share the importance of this day with all. We do gift our teachers, feed sweets with love and respect. They bless us for our beautiful future.
